The ambient lighting strip extends across the entire width of the cockpit. It creates a horizon of coloured light, perfectly synchronised with the mood lighting of your selected My Mode. By day it looks soft and translucent, by night it reveals dynamic lighting effects.⁴

The new BMW Panoramic Vision projects personalised content virtually across the entire width of the windscreen. The BMW 3D Head-up Display provides precise 3D visualisations of important driver information directly within your line of sight.³, ⁴

With the large 14.6" BMW Passenger Screen, the front passenger can access a diverse range of entertainment. On the Full HD display, they can watch films, play games or stay productive while on the go (optional equipment). Headphones and game controllers can be connected via Bluetooth.³, ⁴, ⁶

The Shy Tech controls on your BMW multifunction steering wheel are only visible when available. The surface responds to touch and provides tactile feedback. This means you can take care of important tasks without taking your eyes off the road.

Feel the driving dynamics on every journey.

The BMW i7 invites you to enjoy the drive with finely tuned driving dynamics. The adaptive 2-axle air suspension automatically adapts the dampers to the road surface. With the optional Integral Active Steering, the rear axle steering enhances stability, increases agility and reduces the turning circle. To achieve this, the rear wheels are turned by up to 3.5 degrees.

At lower speeds, rear-wheel steer means the rear wheels turn in the opposite direction to the front wheels. This makes parking in tight spaces noticeably easier. At higher speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction, making your BMW i7 even more stable during lane changes.

Using Bluetooth, you can wirelessly connect up to two headphones and two game controllers to your BMW i7 Saloon. The optional BMW Theatre Screen can establish a connection via the BMW Digital Premium Package (if booked), your smartphone's hotspot or an external stationary Wi-Fi network, giving you access to entertainment content. Alternatively, the BMW Theatre Screen offers an HDMI port for a cable connection to your BMW i7 Saloon.

The BMW i7 60 xDrive M Sport has a (net) battery capacity of 112.5 kilowatt-hours (kWh).¹, ² This figure indicates how much energy the battery can store. A 31.3-inch BMW Theatre Screen for rear passengers is available as an option for the BMW i7 Saloon. The screen automatically glides down from the roof and the sound fills the space, turning video streaming, games and calls into a real experience. Thanks to the integrated camera, passengers can also take part in video calls. (optional equipment)

As an all-electric vehicle, the BMW i7 Saloon is available in three different motor specifications. There is the BMW i7 50 xDrive Saloon, the BMW i7 60 xDrive M Sport and the extra sporty M model, the BMW i7 M70 xDrive Saloon. You can find specific figures for each model in the technical data.

A key factor in the higher charging power is the latest BMW cell technology. The enhanced high voltage battery uses cylindrical cells from the sixth generation BMW eDrive technology for the first time. Compared with the previous prismatic Gen5 cells, these offer around 20 percent higher volumetric energy density, enabling more usable energy and an approximately 25 percent increase in charging performance. With an energy content of up to 112.5 kWh, the BMW i7 achieves a range of over 700 kilometres (WLTP). Currents of up to 630 amperes increase the maximum DC charging power from 195 kW to 250 kW, delivering full performance at both 800 volt and 400 volt High Power Charging stations. As a result, the BMW i7 can charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes.
