With Remote Software Upgrades, your BMW is always up to date. Receive free quality improvements over the air via your BMW app or your BMW's SIM card and install them directly in your vehicle. You could also receive new functions or functional improvements free of charge, if and when available, depending on the country, vehicle model, equipment and vehicle condition.

MORE INTUITIVE NAVIGATTION.

Remote Software Upgrade Intuitive Navigation

This update combines relevant navigation settings in a widget on the left-hand side. Additional icons along the right edge provide an overview. Tap on the icons to operate important functions directly. Dynamic filters in the search function help you to find your destination quickly and easily.[1]

QLOCKTWO: NEW, UNIQUE TIME DISPLAY.

QLOCKTWO is the new, unique time display for your BMW. Designed by the well-known designers Biegert & Funk, the layout and display changes every five minutes. After the update, the new clock will appear as a widget in the central display.[1][2]

MY MODE EFFICIENT AS START MODE.

With My Mode Efficient, you always drive in the most energy-saving manner possible. This update means that you no longer need to manually change to this setting once you have set off. If you wish, your BMW will automatically start and drive in the most efficient mode.[1][2]

CONTROL PARKING PROCESS VIA VOICE COMMAND.

Park even more easily with the Speech Park Assistant. A voice command is all that is needed and your BMW will automatically manoeuvre into parking spaces. Just lean back and retain an overview. You can interrupt the manoeuvre at any time with a brief instruction.[2]

My Mode Silent reduces signals in the vehicle cockpit.

My Mode Silent reduces noises and lights in the vehicle cockpit at the touch of a button. Whether you want to focus on conversations while driving or enjoy calm driving moments. This mode lets you concentrate fully on your driving.[1][2]

QuickSelect Widgets can now be configured.

QuickSelect Widgets mean that the main menu is now designed for fast access. From now on, you can configure the functions you want to access directly yourself. Simply tap on one of your favourites to open it. Press and hold a widget to start the individual configuration of the display.[2]

BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant with new icons.

Thanks to new icons, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant visually responds in even more detail to voice commands. Navigation requests, entertainment or comfort are visually picked up. The new icons are additions to the BMW Digital Premium package, which can be ordered separately.[2]
