Aftersales Retention Manager for Southside BMW Retailer

Murphy & Gunn BMW, are currently recruiting for the brand new role of Aftersales Retention Manager

Objectives of the Role:

You will be responsible for increasing the aftersales customer base whilst ensuring existing customers remain loyal. You will be expected to develop and implement a sustainable and effective customer retention plan.


Main Duties:

  • To pro-actively engage customers, maximise existing opportunities and create new ones
  • Work with the Marketing team to implement effective and targeted campaigns, both through direct mail, email and social media
  • Ensure that Murphy & Gunn is the retailer of choice for all aftersales customers
  • Ensure that all new and approved used car customers are encouraged to return to the centre
  • Increase the number of Aftersales customers visiting the Retail Centre
  • Working closely with the Service, Parts & Bodyshop Manager to ensure our business potential is maximised & we exceed our customers expectations
  • Keeping up to date & communicating internally all the latest BMW Aftersales information


Critical Skills:

  • Possess strong numerical & analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Be resourceful, pro-active and creative
  • Have a strong vision for building lasting customer relationships
  • Automotive experience not essential CDK/Kerridge experience a distinct advantage
