The lights concept in the BMW X5 commands attention so that you are instantly able to see everything and everything can see you. Innovative bi-xenon headlights and intelligent technologies support you on your journey.

Bi-xenon headlights for high and low beam provide optimum illumination of the road ahead in bad weather, at night or in poor visibility. In the case of the latter, the fog lights, integrated in the front apron, ensure extra safety. The dynamic brake lights make it easier for drivers following from behind to see how hard you are applying the brakes. If you are applying the brakes in an emergency, the light area flashes to attract more attention.

Adaptive Headlights in the BMW X5 illuminate bends by optimally adjusting the swivelling bi-xenon headlights as soon as the driver turns the steering wheel. When turning, the cornering lights are activated to shine additional light onto the area to the side of the vehicle so that any pedestrians, animals or obstacles can be recognised in good time. The cornering lights also make nighttime parking significantly easier. The result: outstanding illumination and a more relaxed driving experience in all situations.
