The BMW TwinPower Turbo twelve-cylinder petrol engine in the 760Li.

An engine that was developed to set new standards and exceed the highest expectations: The newly constructed 12-cylinder V-engine in the BMW 760Li provides exceptionally smooth operation, distinctive dynamics and inexhaustible power reserves – at maximum efficiency. With six litres of cylinder capacity and the latest-generation BMW TwinPower Turbo technology with Valvetronic, double-Vanos and High Precision Injection, this engine offers 400 kW (544 hp) maximum output and torque of up to 750 Nm, which is already available at 1,500 rpm. The all-aluminium engine accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 4.6 seconds. And its fuel consumption is equally impressive: the BMW 760i with High Precision Injection needs just 12.9 litres per 100 km.
