The BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine of the BMW 520d produces an exceptional 135 kW (184 hp) performance from its 2.0 litre capacity


Its combination of CommonRail direct injection and a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry yields a top speed of 231 to 234 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 to 8.1 seconds, with a torque of 380 Nm at 1,750 to 2,750 rpm. The efficient average fuel consumption: 4.9 to 4.5 l to 100 km at a CO2 emissions level of 129 to 119 g/km.
