Three intelligently combined technologies are what make the straight six-cylinder petrol engine powerful and efficient. The Twin Scroll turbocharger responds instantly to provide outstanding pulling power throughout the rev range. The highly advanced Valvetronic technology controls the amount of lift of the individual intake valves on each cylinder. This allows the engine to breathe freely, delivering better performance whilst using less fuel. And the direct petrol injection makes combustion quieter and more efficient.

The result? 225 kW (306 hp) and 400 Newton metres of smooth and powerful performance across almost the entire rev range. And all this with a truly impressive fuel consumption level of just 8.4 litres over 100 kilometres.
